The one essential data element for all available auto searches to be conducted for a NCP is the SSN.
Databases searched automatically and regularly by OSIS are:
- OKDHS including the FSS and OSIS systems;
- Oklahoma Employment Security Commission (OESC);
- Department of Public Safety (DPS); and
- Expanded Federal Parent Locate Service including the National Directory of New Hires (NDNH), Federal Case Registry (FCR), and FPLS.
When a match occurs, the address is added to OSIS automatically as an unverified address. An auto case log message is added to case. Now that Family Support Services (FSS) does EBT (electronic benefits transfer) the addresses aren’t as current as they used to be.
You can contact the other division worker to compare addresses to determine which is the most current if you are unsure.
