Profile Picture in Outlook – Microsoft 365

The easiest way to work with your profile picture is to use the browser version of MS Office 365, not the desktop version.

  1. Click on your picture, or initials, in the upper-right corner of the Outlook page.
  2. Select “My Microsoft 365 profile” from the drop-down. A new tab will open in your browser, labeled “Search | M365 Copilot”.
  3. Select “Update your profile” to open a new pop-up window.
  4. In the pop-up, select the little pencil icon next to your picture.
  5. Now, you can upload a new picture, remove the current picture, and make basic edits to the picture like zooming in or out or framing the image.
  6. When you are satisfied with your profile picture, select “Add to profile”.

It can take up to 48 hours for the new photo to appear across Outlook.
