How to Opt Out of Yammer Notifications

Yammer is a social media network used by DHS where you can interact with your coworkers in a safe, online environment. Yammer will periodically send notifications to your email about invitations, updates, and other types of activity happening on the network. You can opt out of these notifications by clicking the unsubscribe link on the bottom of Yammer emails, or by visiting the notifications page.

To opt out of Yammer via the notifications page:

  1. Go to your Yammer account.
  2. Click the dark blue login button on the right hand side of the screen
  3. Login to your Yammer account with your DHS assigned email (U#@okdhs.org) and the password you assigned to it.
  4. Once logged in go to your account settings.
    • To get to your account settings click on the small gear located at the top left hand side of the screen.

  5. Click on Edit Settings
    • This button is located underneath your name.
  6. Under Account Settings, select Notifications.
    • This is located on the top banner, the fifth button to the right.
  7. You will see a checklist of how and when you have been receiving notifications.
    • Select how you would like to receive notifications, if you would like to receive no notifications, uncheck all of the boxes.
  8. Save when you are finished.
