Linking to the Folder
To find and save the Office of Administrative Hearings (OAH) eFile Polling Folder, start by opening your file explorer program.
Click Computer in the left menu to back out of any file folders that might be open.
Now type in the search bar at the top of the screen the following link:
\\app-axc01-830.okdhs.int\OAH_PollingFolders\OAH_eFile_Polling
Find the OAH Efile Polling folder in the window. You want to copy a link to your desktop and possibly save it as a favorite folder as well. There are several ways to accomplish this:
- Copy and Paste—Right click the folder and choose copy. Then go to your desktop, right click on an open area, and choose paste. This is the safest procedure to avoid accidents.
- Drag and Drop—You can drag the folder up above the File Explorer window and drop it into a free area on your desktop. WARNING: If you release the mouse prematurely, it could result in copying a link of the folder into another folder or location you don’t want, and others will see your error.
- Save to Favorites—Click and drag the file folder to the Favorites area on the left side of the File Explorer screen (Favorites is at the top of the left menu). This will generate a link to the folder.
WARNING: If you release the mouse too early, it will create an unwanted link inside one of the other folders on this screen, and others will see this error.
You should now be able to access the OAH eFile Polling Folder in either your File Explorer Favorites, or your desktop.
You can save items directly to the folder or you can click and drag items to the folder.
File Naming Convention
Anything placed in this folder should follow the same naming convention.
It must have a caseworker’s U# starting with a capital U. It will then go to the Workflow inbox of the person who owns that U#.
