Sending Regional Rate A or B boxes

The article shows the procedures for preparing and sending small, medium, and large packages.

Definitions

Regional Rate A box (RRBA-2 A)

  • Used for contents weighing up to 3 lbs.
  • Inside Dimensions: 10″ x 7″ x 4-3/4″
  • Outside Dimensions: 10-1/8″ x 7-1/8″ x 5″

Regional Rate B box (RRBB-1 B)

  • for contents that will not fit in the A box and weigh 4 lbs. or more.
  • Inside Dimensions: 12″ x 10-1/4 x 5″
  • Outside Dimensions: 12″-1/4 x 10-1/2″ x 5-1/2″
  1. Boxes located in the mail area under the Vehicle cabinet.
  2. Request a Label 400 from Sheryn or Darlene in order to track the package. USPS tracking label
  3. Packages that will not fit into the RRBA or RRBB box need to be placed in a temporary box (not a shipping box.)
  4. Complete a Mail Center Shipping Request and attach it to the temporary box. Request form available at {redacted}
  5. Place it next to the “Outgoing Mail” basket on the mail sorting counter.

The Sequoyah mail center will pick it up and package it at the most cost-effective method.
