Arrearage Computation Versions

The Arrearage Computation (A/C) can produce two versions:

1. “BaseCsi” version

   – This is the detailed internal version that provides a detailed account of child support accruals, payments, and balances by payee (TANF, foster care, various custodial persons (CPs), etc.). Once the A/C has been completed and reconciled with OSIS, the form must be signed and placed in the file.

2. “BaseCrt” version (Record of Payment / ROP)

   – This is a high level view of what has been owed and paid by the obligor. The ROP is automatically populated when the BaseCsi version has been completed. This is used in court proceedings as evidence and is provided to the non-custodial parent (NCP) if requested.

   Prior to printing the ROP, verify that the appropriate heading style is displayed. If not, change the style by completing the following steps:

   1. Click on the “Change Style” button.
   2. A menu box will display the heading style selections.
   3. Select the court of their choice and click “OK.”
   4. The ROP heading will be changed.

All A/Cs are saved on the assigned case office’s public drive. This ensures that even if there is a computer crash or staff turnover, the A/C is still available when needed. It also makes bringing an A/C up-to-date easier if it is available to all staff within the office.
