Create a Pended Obligation Before Generating Paternity and Establishment Documents

Before generating paternity and establishment documents, a pended obligation must be built on OSIS.  This is done through ADOC or EPOC. These screens are used to update data for pending obligations before ALC documents are generated.

ADOC is the CSED Obligation List by FGN. It is used to initiate a new administrative action. See OSIS Screens Cheat Sheets to obtain the ADOC Cheat Sheet for the information needed to update this screen. The ADOC is used for AP legal status I cases.

EPOC is the Paternity Establishment Information screen and is used to establish a paternity action. See OSIS Screens Cheat Sheets to obtain the EPOC Cheat Sheet for the information to update this screen. The EPOC is used for AP legal status M and P cases.

Please note, when updating the EPOC there is a succession of associated screens that can be updated as well. They are the PTDFU, the Plaintiff and Defendant Update Screen and PESC, the Paternity and establishment Supporting Information screen. To obtain the information needed to update the PTDFU screen refer to the OSIS Screens Cheat Sheets.
