Employees should use their ID badge each time they enter an OKDHS building.
- Proper badge usage is an important safety and security measure that helps maintain accurate building access records and supports the security of our staff and facilities.
- ID badges with no activity for 60+ days will automatically be deactivated.
Employees transferring to a new position within OKDHS should keep and continue using their current ID badge.
- A new badge is not required for internal transfers.
When an employee separates from the agency, supervisors should:
- Collect and retain the employee’s ID badge;
- Email IDBadges@okdhs.org to notify Support Services that badge access should be removed. Please include the employee’s name, U number, and Employee ID (PeopleSoft) number; and provide the badge directly to their workstation’s Support Services Coordinator.
The most up-to-date information regarding ID badge procedures can be found on Support Services’ Employee ID Badges InfoNet page.
