Participants in the CSS Certification Program that complete the functional area assessments may be paid a lump sum payment of $688 per functional assessment passed. To receive the lump sum payment the Certification Functional Area Skill-Based Pay Application form 03GN551E (PDF) must be completed and turned into the CSS Certification office.
These applications are processed after they are received and information is sent to HR to pay the lump sum payments.
The skill-based pay lump sum payment will be included with the participant’s regular paycheck after it is processed by HR. The exact date of the payment will depend on when the assessment was completed and the processing deadlines for HR. This may be several weeks after the assessment is completed.
