eKIDS Case Plan Menu

eKIDS is an information system provided by the Children and Family Services Division of DHS that allows authorized users to inquire into Oklahoma’s Statewide Automated Child Welfare Information Systems (SACWIS, commonly referred to as KIDS).

The “Case Plan Menu” screen is located on eKIDS and available once logging in.

After selecting a client on eKIDS, you can access the Case Plan Menu by clicking on “Case Plan” located on the main header. The Case Plan Menu provides information regarding the OKDHS Plan for the family. The Case Plan Menu will appear on the left side of the screen with the following options:

• • ISP/Treatment Plan: The Plan will populate and five (5) tabs will display.

• • General Info:  The General Info tab displays the plan type and the clients to whom the ISP
    applies.
  • Reasons, Results & Conditions: This tab explains the reason for OKDHS involvement,
    conditions that need to be corrected, and what OKDHS expects from the family to correct the conditions.
  • To-Do: This tab provides specific information that each client must complete. Click and scroll
    down on the pick list to view each specific To Do.

• • Standard To-Do: This tab functions the same as the To-Do tab.
  • Progress Report: This tab provides reports submitted to the court regarding the family’s
    progress on the ISP.
  • Click on “Date Updated” to select the Progress Report you want to view.  There will be six (6) tabs which allow you to view OKDHS Recommendations, Family Updates, Progress on the To-Do’s, Contacts and Visits

• • Removal Menu: Click on the “Removal Screen” to view information on the removal of the
    child(ren) from the home.All the children in the KK Case will populate. Click [Select] for the child you want to view.

    

     

    The information regarding the child’s Removal will populate after you click [Select].

  • Placement: This screen allows you to see previous and current placements of a child in OKDHS
    Custody. You will see ‘Yes’ under DHS Custody when the child is in OKDHS Custody. (e.g.
    Wendy Forrester).

• Highlight and click once on the child you want to view. The first screen provides a general overview of the
  child’s placement.Click ‘Show Placements’ for further information.  A complete history of where the child has been placed and length of time of placement will populate.
