eKIDS Services Menu

eKIDS is an information system provided by the Children and Family Services Division of DHS that allows authorized users to inquire into Oklahoma’s Statewide Automated Child Welfare Information Systems (SACWIS, commonly referred to as KIDS).

The “Service Log” screen is located on eKIDS and available once logging in.

The “Services Log” screen contains information regarding OCI/OCS services the child is receiving or the child care the child may be attending.

  • Click on “Services” and the “Services” menu will appear on the left side of the screen:
  • The service menu.
  • Click [Select] next to the client you want to view.
  • Click on “Child Care” under the “Services Menu”
  • The service menu with Child Care highlighted.
  • The child care provider will be displayed if OKDHS is paying for child care on behalf of a child in a foster home.
  • Example of day care services offered and delivered shown through eKIDS.

The most important detail to note is the begin/change date and the closure date when you scroll down to view the child care.  For example, see below:  The child began attending Carla J. Alonzo’s child care on 05/03/2010 and is still attending (there is no Closure Date).
