How to Activate a Pending Referral

To activate a pending referral, access the case and go to the CSML screen. On the CSML screen, tab down to the line that is displaying the pended referral information and type REFU at the front of this line. Press enter.

You will now be on the REFU screen. Tab to the REF/REC DATE: field and enter a date.

  • If it is an outgoing referral, use the date that the referral was sent.
  • If it is an incoming referral, use the date that the referral was received.

Press enter. The screen will update with a message that reads: UPDATES COMPLETE.

The referral is now active.
