The age of emancipation will always follow the rules of the initial order. For example, If the original order was done in New York and the order was later modified by Oklahoma the age of emancipation would remain 21.
In most states, child support ends when the child turns 18 or up to age 19 if still in high school. However, not all states follow this rule. The emancipation age can vary from state to state. Below is a chart of the emancipation age in each state.
