Unsuccessful CSENet transactions

If there was an error sending a CSENet transaction, follow these steps to correct the problem and resend the transaction:

  1. Find your terminal number on the IAM screen and write it down.
  2. Go to the CSNERL screen and look for the terminal number (this will be in the LTERM column).
  3. The code listed under the PGM column on the same line as the terminal number is the program code. Write this down.
  4. To see details of the error, type CSNER (space) program code and press enter. This will display the reason why the error message was generated.
  5. Correct the problem on the appropriate OSIS screen and send the message again using NETGEN.

This must be done immediately after the CSENet transaction is unsuccessful. The terminal number will be different each time you log onto OSIS.
