When another state charges for providing legal documents needed to proceed with a case, a request for payment may be requested from the Litigation Fund.
To obtain funds for copies of legal documents from other states, complete the Litigation Fund Requisition Form. The Requesting Attorney and Managing Attorney must sign the requisition form. Compose a letter addressed to the receiving entity to accompany the check.
Send the completed form to *OCSS.BudgetInquiries.
The Center for Finance & Budget (CFB) will issue a check directly to the entity(ies). CFB will then email a copy of the check to the original requestor and mail the check and office letter to the entity with the requesting office’s return address on the envelope.
