To see if a document in ALC (Adobe Live Cycle) is host print eligible, determine whether or not the document has a cover letter. The cover letter can be in the ALC document, or it can be an associated document. If there is a cover letter, the document can be host printed.
An example of the cover letter being in the ALC document would be the P04 (Parentage Questionnaire). An example of the cover letter being in an associated document would be the R03 (Notice of Intent to Review CS Order) and R04 (Financial Statement). The R03 acts as the cover letter for the R04. Selecting the R03 allows you to include the R04 as an associated document for host printing.
The importance of the cover letter is to have the addresses placed on the mailing page so that they properly display when placed in the envelope.
Host print is available up to five pages (front and back). That is a total of ten pages of text, including the cover letter!
