Office Group Sizes by Caseload

CSS office caseload sizes have changed over time. Per a recent decision made by CSS MTeam, below are office group sizes that will be used for purposes of performance measures and other reporting.

Let the OCSS.MTEAM.StandingMembers know if you have any questions.

Below are the the size cut-offs between the small, medium, and large office size.

Effective with the 6/30/22 Performance Measures Report (and still in effect on this publication date), office groups were changed to be defined as such:

  • Small is for offices with less than 2,500 cases
  • Medium is 2,500 to 4,499;
  • Large is 4,500 and greater except Urban;
  • Urban is OKA, OKB, OKC, TUE and TUW; and,
  • Special is for OKJ and TUJ.

Below is the comparison between the old groups and the New Groups.
