When a Child Support Services (CSS) initiated downward modification is effective back to the date the motion was filed, offset any overage by:
- Reducing any issuable past due balances up to the balances owed. If none exist,
- No overpayments will be created by CSS. For more information, see Policy OAC 340:25-5-305 (g).
Notes:
- Do not offset one CP’s overpayment against another CP’s balances.
- Do not offset issuable balances against assigned balances.
