When SoonerCare ends on a Medical Enforcement Only (MEO) case the case will automatically change to a full-service case.
Once MEO has ended for a case, prior due amounts during the MEO period will not post but posting of current support for obligations on the case will resume.
During the time that the custodial parent is in MEO status, there will be no posting of monthly obligation amounts for current, spousal, and other support for their children. Monthly judgment amounts will post except those with financial case types of PC or NC. Fixed medical amounts greater than zero will not post during the MEO period.
The MEO end date for a custodial parent can be updated by the PS2 or HCA interfaces or entered on the CCPU screen to end MEO services. Once MEO ends, prior past due amounts during the MEO period will not post and posting of current support due will resume.
If the start date on an obligation begins before the MEO begin date, has amounts due, and has never posted, the amounts prior to the MEO period will post up to the MEO begin date. If the MEO end date is entered as a prior month’s end date and the obligation has an amount of support due greater than zero, posting current support and prior due after the MEO end date will occur.
Documents will automatically generate for the CP (MEOTCP) and the NCP (MEOTAP) on the case to notify them that the MEO has ended and full IV-D services will resume.
