This is a list of things to check on a case before every walk-in for any enforcement action and/or every desk review of a case. This list is in no particular order.
- Review case for locate.
- Update addresses of parties, phone numbers, employers, attorneys, etc.
- If the party has an attorney, advise the customer to speak with private counsel.
- Review the case for the following:
- Ensure an income withholding order is in place (if not, send one-see APEU for employer data),
- Modification-review income in FCRL, run guidelines in GLS, etc,
- Judgment payment- review for Annual Notice, NOIR (license probation/revocation/reinstatement), Contempt, or other manual enforcement court action.
- Determine if the customer’s request is applicable to the case.
- Figure out what hasn’t been done on the case, and do what needs to be done to bring the obligor into compliance with the support order.
