TANF Assistance in the Current Month

When a new Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) C/H case number is created at the first of the month, the benefits are not captured in the Unreimbursed Assistance (URA) database until approximately the 15^th of the month; therefore, a cross-reference tie cannot be created until that time.

For any month the custodial person (CP) is receiving TANF, the TANF expenditure will not display on URAD/URASI until after the 5^th day of the current month (it could be as late as the 10^th of the month). Because of this, the URA might not be up-to-date on a current assistance case.
